51 Delta variant cases reported in New Mexico but none in Doña Ana County

The New Mexico Department of Health officials said it’s traced 51 cases of the Delta variant within the state. Of those 51 cases, none has been reported in Doña Ana County. “Delta variant is really not spreading very quickly in New Mexico which really features a lot to try to to with the very fact that we’ve now about 2/3rds of latest Mexicans vaccinated against COVID-19,” said David Morgan the spokesperson for the New Mexico Health Department. State officials said they test for the variant at its laboratories in Albuquerque only. Morgan said he doesn’t skill the variant will affect New Mexico but said they are doing expect to ascertain more cases.
