An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old in New Jersey. Police try to locate Sebastian Rios, 2, and his mother, Yasemin Uyar, 24. Both were last seen in Rahway Thursday morning. Both Sebastian and Yasemin are believed to possess been taken by the boy’s father, 27-year-old Tyler Rios of Highland Park. Police say he’s driving a silver four-door Ford Fiesta with the car place W421713. he’s approximately 5’9″ and weighs around 220 pounds.
Sebastian has brown hair and brown eyes. he’s approximately 3’5″ inches tall, weighing 47 pounds. Police found out a fringe that has a block of residences around the home where the boy lived together with his mother on Westfield Ave. Rahway detectives entered the house on Friday evening and said it had been a lively scene. Yasemin’s sister, Marissa Uyar tells Eyewitness News that Tyler and Yasemin aren’t together, and their only relation is sharing a son. She says Tyler features a history of violence and recently became homeless. Marissa also said that Tyler recently broke into Yasemin’s home, and cops were called. Tyler had apparently convinced the officers that he had been living there.
Marissa added that Yasemin was getting to move out of Rahway for safety concerns. “She was pretty busy packing and trying to urge herself together,” Marissa said. Marissa says she just wants to understand her sister and nephew are safe and had a message for Tyler Rios. “Man I just want him to let a minimum of my nephew go. I mean I would like my sister to return home, but, I mean, something’s need to give, you know?” she said. Marissa tells Eyewitness News she is confident that the police do everything which will, and she or he hopes that the Amber Alert reaches someone who can help get them back home safely.
