Eternals is yet to be released but before Marvel suckers have spotted some involving Easter eggs.
The forthcoming superhero film, directed by Oscar-winning Nomadland filmmaker Chloe Zhao, is due for release succeeding month. A new camper has landed ahead of the film’s advent – and it didn’t take long for eagle-eyed addicts to spot what could be a game-changing detail for the MCU.
Grounded on the comic book series of the same name, Eternals focuses on a race of immortal beings who defend the earth Earth from supernatural hazards. Among those villains are the ancient adversaries named the Counterculturists who are anticipated to make their debut in the forthcoming film. A proposition posted on Reddit, as reported by Inverse, argues that Marvel may have harbingered the Heretics’ appearance into the MCU else than six periods ago. One aficionado directed out the congruities participated between one scene in the newly released Eternals caravan and the vision that Thor (Chris Hemsworth) receives in Avengers Age of Ultron (2015). In particular, they accent the resemblance between a shot in the camper showing what appears to be an asteroid crashing into Earth and an akin scene in the vision that Thor has in Age of Ultron.
Thereafter in the film, Thor says “ I’ve had a vision. A gulf that sucks in all opportunity of life.” As aimed out by Inverse, while Thor appears to be appertaining to the Eternity Gravestones, the Redditor notes that the superhero’s choice of words calls to mind another shot from the Eternals camper. The scene in question – which occurs at the 28-alternate mark – sees a mass of land falling into the deep. The correspondences pray the question of whether Thor cautioned onlookers about the Iconoclasts all the way back in 2015?
Thor’s vision told onlookers of the Everlasting Headstones, Ultron and Thanos – but it’s possible that the Iconoclasts’ appearance to Earth was also adverted. This could really well be a concurrency but given Marvel’s rep for setting up connections spells in advance, it’s possible that the parallels are voluntary. Eternals stars Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Kit Harrington, Salma Hayek, Brian Tyree Henry, and Richard Madden. The film is slated for a theatrical release on 4 November.
