Lakers’ Alex Caruso arrested for possession of marijuana

Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso was arrested and released for possession of marijuana in Texas on Tuesday, consistent with Brazos County jail records. The arrest, which also included a charge for possession of drug paraphernalia, was made by Texas A&M University Police, where Caruso a university Station, Texas, native, attended college. consistent with the records, the guard had but two ounces of marijuana on him upon arrest. A cash bond was set for $3,000 and he paid a $552 fee for the paraphernalia. Caruso averaged 6.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and a couple of .8 assists for the Lakers this past season. The 27-year-old is going to be a free agent this summer.
